Days & Hours: 38 hours contracted hours per week. Term time: Monday to Friday 6.00am to 10.30am | 2.30pm to 8.00pm School Holidays: Monday to Friday: 7.00am to 7.00pm and Weekends: 7.00am to 7.00pm. Hours will be split between two team members (38 hours each). Must be available to work 2 weekends per month.

Our client Raul is 6 years old, he sustained a brain injury at birth and as a result, he has four limb dystonic cerebral palsy, visual impairment, learning disabilities and gastric reflux. Raul has complex care needs, he receives all medication, liquids and blended via his gastrostomy PEG, he is non-verbal however communicates very well using sounds and facial expressions and is just starting to use eye gaze. Raul is a wheelchair user and is dependent on others to meet all his care needs.
Raul lives at home with his parents and younger sister and he attends a specialist school. In this role, you’ll assist with morning, afterschool and weekend support. We are seeking a proactive, outgoing and confident SEND Nanny/Support Worker to support Raul with all his care needs, therapy programmes, use of eye gaze and to promote his independence.
This is a full-time position working with a lovely little boy, for this Support Worker role you must be a confident swimmer as Raul enjoys swimming and needs support to access this activity.
