£27,000.00 + Gross per Annum. Exciting new position is available for a Support Worker / Carer looking to gain more hands-on experience working 1:1 with a young adult with complex care needs. Full-time, permanent contract.

Days & Hours: Working 40 hours on average per week. Weekdays and weekends

Jen is 24 years old and has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs, she is a wheelchair user and received all nutrition and liquids via a feeding tube (Mic-Key). Jen is dependent on her team to attend to all her care needs and she requires 1:1 support.

This role will be based in Jen’s home however you will work both at home and out in the community. Jen has a busy schedule full of social events, activities and appointments, she attends day centres, clubs and really enjoys being out and about. In this role you’ll assist Jenny to live an independent and fulfilling life.

As Jen’s support worker / carer you’ll assist with personal care, implement therapy programmes, attend appointments, arrange activities, explore new interests / hobbies and attend hydrotherapy sessions. Excellent training opportunities are available in this role.
