Days & Hours: 37 contracted hours per week, will include weekend work.

About this client/child:
Our client Simon is 25 years old and requires 2:1 support. He has severe epilepsy and as a result, has absences every few minutes during the day and has convulsive seizures at night. Experience supporting a client with epilepsy is desirable, however, full training is provided and you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside long-standing team members who can guide you in how to care for Simon. The need for emergency medication is rare however training will be provided to administer if required according to protocol.
Overview of the role:
Simon is very active and he enjoys living life to the fullest; he has a long list of hobbies which include swimming, cycling, attending his day centre, painting/drawing and days out to wildlife parks – and many other activities! In this role, you’ll support Simon with all aspects of daily life, including personal care, administering medication and accessing the community.
