Jasleen is in a persistent vegetative state and requires round the clock care. Our aim for Jasleen is that she will return to live with her family with the support of an experienced care team.
Overview of role:
Jasleen has complex medical and care needs and we are looking for an experienced support worker who will care for and spend time with Jasleen at the nursing home. The nursing staff are responsible for all medical, feeding, personal care and manual handling duties relating to Jasleen, however it is your role to alert the staff and ensure all Jasleen’s needs are being met, and to a high standard. You’ll assist with implementing therapy, personal care and if the weather is nice walking and spending time out in the gardens. Jasleen is at the centre of a loving family who love to spend personal time at the nursing home and part of your role will be to update the family when you are on shift.
