About this client/child:
Our client Claire is 19 years old, she lives with her family in Bromley and attends College 4 days per week. Claire has cerebral palsy, she uses a walking aid and for long distances will use her wheelchair. Claire enjoys caring for her animals, spending time with her family and friends and is a music lover.
Overview of role:
This role is all about enabling Claire to live life independently. She requires practical hands on support with physical tasks, personal care and to access activities she enjoys. You’ll assist Claire in the morning and drop her off and collect her from College. You’ll receive training from Occupational and Physio therapists to support Claire and implement therapy programmes at home and in the gym.
Who this job would suit:
An experienced female* support worker / PA with previous experience supporting a young adult with a physical disability. For this role you must be a confident driver with your own car, nonsmoker and confident swimmer.
