Up to £12.36 gross per hour. Support Worker to join friendly care team for young man 27 

with traumatic brain injury in Acton, London.

Wage / Salary: £11.33 gross per hour weekend | £12.36 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, adapted vehicle, manual 
Essential Experience: Supporting a client with a complex medical and within a family setting and manual handling
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Blended rota working days and nights. 36 hours per week

Joshua 27, has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, is non-verbal, visually impaired, a wheelchair user and receives his nutrition via gastrostomy. Joshua has a 24/7 care plan and you will be required to work both days and nights. We are looking for a resourceful, proactive and energetic support worker as Joshua likes to go out and enjoys lots of local community activities like going to the pub, restaurants, cinema and theatre. 

In this role you will assist Joshua with all aspects of daily living, you will continue to promote his independence and maximize his quality of life. The post will require you to liaise effectively with Joshua’s family (mum and siblings), team leader and his case manager.

You will be reliable, flexible and hard working. Shift patterns available: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:00am and 4:00pm – 8/9:00pm Weekends 8:00am – 9:00pm and nights 8:00pm – 8:00am.
