Charlie has Global Development Delay, Epilepsy and a shunt in situ. Being a happy, sweet and easy going chap it is difficult not to be charmed by this little boy!

Apart from ensuring Charlie is well cared for, you will allocate time for 1:1 activities, therapy and fun educational games. Charlie is dependent on others for all his needs, so you will be comfortable and confident with personal care, manual handling and transfer; you will assist Charlie with each daily task.

You will also accompany Charlie to hospital appointments and therapy sessions if scheduled on the day you’re on the rota. While we are keen for applicants to have epilepsy experience and training for this post, training is provided to manage Charlie’s epilepsy. More information available from Jade at interview stage.
