£29,000.00 Gross per Annum! Robust, reliable and energetic Male* Support Worker / Personal Assistant required in Harlow, CM17

Location: Harlow
Nearest Train / Tube Station: Harlow
Wage / Salary: £29,000.00 gross per annum | £14.00 gross per hour weekdays | £16.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? Not required
Essential Experience: Supporting a child with challenging behaviour, swimmer and non-smoker
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Term time: 37.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:30am and 2:30pm to 7:30pm. 2 x 8 hours weekend shift per month.
School Holidays: 30 hours per week start and end times flexible.

James 8 is happiest when spending time with family at home, playing in the garden or swimming! James has mild cerebral palsy, can present with challenging behaviour and has limited expressive language. James is an endearing young man however he can become frustrated, unsettled and anxious in many situations and doesn’t respond well to over-stimulation.

This role involves facilitating, motivating and encouraging James to reach his full potential. Your experience managing challenging behaviour and EBD, will help support James’s behaviour and self-regulation. James will require your assistance with each daily task including, administering medication and therapy support. There are light nursery duties.

This job will suit a candidate who understand the importance of promoting independence and is both robust and resilient. Experience working with young clients with additional need and a confident driver is essential.
