Wage / Salary: €15.00 gross per hour, € 31,248.00gross per annum
Driver required? Desirable, not essential
Use of a car?Yes, while on duty
Essential Experience: Supporting children with communication skills, mobility and working within a family home.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 37 + hours per week, Monday – Friday. School days: 7.15 am – 8:15 am and 1.15 pm to 8.00pm. School holidays: 4 days a week 9:00am – 8:00pm.
Accommodation:Studio Apartment (Milan) Room with En-suite (Los Angeles)
Pets: Friendly German Shepherd (dog)
About this client/child:
Sophie 15, is a fabulous, fun and sociable young lady with a passion for dance and a love of maths! Sophie has an undiagnosed condition which affects her mobility and communication skills. Swimming, snowboarding and surfing are just a few activities Sophie and her siblings enjoy.
Overview of role:
In this role you will promote Sophie’s independence, assist with each daily task from deciding what outfit to wear for the day, personal care, implementing therapy, socializing and of course having fun! You will be an advocate for Sophie and ensure she is reaching her full potential.
