Up to £14.00 gross per hour. Fun and confident Full Time * Female Support worker required for Lisa, 15 who has cerebral palsy.

Nearest Train: Abingdon
Wage: £12.00 gross per hour and £14.00 gross per hour. Sleeping night 10 hours @ £78.30 and weekends 10 hours @ £84.00
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty
Essential: Previous care experience
Preferable: Experience with epilepsy and seizure management, PEG feeding and supporting children or young adults with additional needs
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 35 hour per week on rota basis, provided in advance.
Term time: A mixture of shifts 7.00am -8.00am, 3.00pm-9.00pm or 3.30pm -10.00pm, Monday to Friday, sleeping nights 10.00pm -8.00am.  Weekends 8.00am-8.00pm, sleeping nights 8.00pm-8.00am.  School holidays: 8.00am – 8.00pm.
Family Pets: Friendly cat

Lisa 15, is a lovely young lady who enjoys music, sensory activities, hydrotherapy, cooking and baking. Lisa has complex physical needs; cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual impairment and is fed and medicated via a PEG. She is unable to mobilise and is a wheelchair user.

We are seeking a full time support worker to join Lisa’s existing dedicated team. She requires 2:1 care during the day and 1:1 during the night.  You will be required to assist with all aspects of personal care, medication, feeding, implementing therapy into daily routine and keeping all areas Lisa is using clean and tidy and of course having lots of fun.
You’ll be a good team player as you will be working alongside other team, or family members.  

This position would suit an outgoing and confident candidate with genuine interest for this work who understands the importance of promoting independence. Excellent training opportunities available.
