Title: GU10|Part Time *Female Support Worker
Location: Farnham, GU10
Nearest Train: Farnham
Wage: £14.00 to £17.00 gross per hour depending on experience
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty 
Essential: Genuine interest in supporting a child with complex medical needs, training will be provided
Preferable: Tracheostomy care, JEJ, PEG, suctioning, manual handing
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:  Monday - Friday 4.30pm - 8.00pm

About this client/child:
Anna (12) is a sweet young lady who enjoyes sensory stimulation, listening to music and stories. Anna sustained brain damage and requires 2:1 support 24/7.  She has Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, profound visual and hearing impairments and is dependent on others with all her needs. Anna has tracheostomy, requires suctioning and her feeds and medication are administered via PEG tube. She is non-verbal but can express her likes and dislikes. Anna is in a heart of a loving family and lives in a fully adapted house with her parents and younger brother. 

Overview of role:
We are looking for kind and resilient *female support workers who will assist Anna with her weekday routine and at the weekends, working alongside a second support worker. You will be responsible for supporting Anna by providing personal care, following recommended therapy techniques, monitoring her health and engage Anna in appropriate activities. 

Who this job would suit:
This role will suit a caring, calm and competent candidate with a genuine interest supporting children with complex medical needs. A non-smoker is essential. You will be required to wear PPE at all times and this will be provided, training to use a respirator will be given prior to a trial shift.
