Up to £15.00 gross per hour. Full care team needed for Tom, 6, with multiple learning and physical disabilities in Greenwich.

Wage: £14.00 gross per hour weekdays, £15.00 gross per hour weekends, on call nights £10.00 gross per hour
Driver required? Not required
Essential: Working with children with complex medical needs, including epilepsy
Preferable: NVQ level 2/3
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:  Various day and night shifts are available both weekdays and weekends. Term time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm and 3.30pm – 7.30pm Weekends, 8.00am to 8.00pm, Nights 7.30pm – 7.30 am School holiday Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 8.30pm, Nights 8.30pm -8.30 am

Tom, aged 6, and his family are looking for wonderful new Support Workers to join their home care team.  Tom is a lovely young man who responds well to sociable and engaging people who provide gentle and creative interaction. Tom has multiple learning and physical disabilities, he presents with multiple seizures and developmental delay. He is non-verbal and is fully dependent on others for all of his personal care, transfers and mobilisation in his wheelchair.

This job will suit Support Workers with excellent experience of manual handling, personal care, seizure management and medication administration. You will be supporting Tom with all aspects of his daily routine, implementing his therapies and engage him in stimulating activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Tom’s dedicated team and assist him to reach his full potential.
