Christine, 8, is a lively little girl who loves going to Brownies, playing with her siblings, crafts and generally staying busy. Christine has cerebral palsy; she is mobile but does use hoists and a wheelchair. She is verbal, but when tired her speech does become difficult to understand.

You will be responsible for supporting Christine through personal care routines, following recommended therapy techniques and organising fun activities she can engage in. The job will require you to work closely with Christine’s family and a team of staff, so a team player is essential.

This job will suit a dynamic and caring support worker who can engage with Christine and be patient with her when she is tired. We are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running with a great attitude to working with the family in their own home.

We are looking for two female* support workers to join Christine’s small but committed team to cover the hours stated above. More weekday hours negotiable during school holidays.

A great opportunity to work with this lovely family and help Christine reach her full potential!

*Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female worker to work with our client.

Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
