£143.00 - £165.00 Gross per Night Shift! Calm, caring and experienced Waking Night Support Worker required to join busy care team in Essex.

Location: Chigwell, IG7
Nearest Train / Tube Station: Chigwell Station
Wage / Salary: £13.00 gross per hour weekdays | £15.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Preferable
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Supporting a client with cerebral palsy, waking night and confident with manual handling and hoists.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Monday to Sunday 10.00pm – 9.00am. Looking for two or three support workers to cover these shifts. 


Ahana is a bright, engaging and determined 10-year-old who values being as independent as possible. She is very inquisitive, smart and loves to be active. Some of her interests include supercars, astronomy and learning about animals. Ahana has Cerebral Palsy with four limb dystonia and requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 waking night support.

The role will involve assisting Ahana with all aspects of her care plan, night support and therapy plan. You will be responsible for placing Ahana in her sleep system and managing this throughout the night, Ahana will need regular encouragement to stay in her sleep system. You will also assist with the morning routine.

This job will suit an experience waking night support worker who is confident working within a family home. We are looking for positive, caring and flexible candidates who can work as part of a team and cover sickness, absences and holidays to ensure Ahana has the support she requires throughout the day and night.

You will have the opportunity to further your skills and knowledge by working alongside some fantastic therapists involved with Ahana’s development and of course supporting a fabulous young lady with huge potential and a great sense of humour!
