Daisy is a lively, active little girl who lives in a busy and fun household, with her 3 siblings. Daisy has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Night time can be difficult for Daisy as she suffers from reflux and she can have long periods of wakefulness and discomfort.
As Daisy’s Waking Night Support / Carer, you will play a very active role with her at night; assisting with her night feeds, encouraging a good sleep routine, trying to make her as comfortable as possible and to distract her when she is unwell, in pain, upset and unable to sleep. Daisy likes to play on her iPad, watch TV and have stories read to her at these times. A fully-equipped carer’s room is provided with a monitor to allow you to keep watch on Daisy at all times.
This job will suit an empathetic, caring and kind person who enjoys working within a family home and providing 1:1 support. A truly rewarding position and opportunity to work with this fantastic little girl.
*Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for a female worker to work with our client.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
