Jane is 42 years old and has an acquired brain injury. She has a great sense of humour and enjoys the companionship of others. Jane loves going out, especially for lunch, but sometimes feels anxious about trying new things and meeting new people, so needs support and encouragement.

Jane requires support throughout the day, including weekends and sleep-in night shifts, with all activities of daily living and to enable her to access the community. She is independent with personal care but needs occasional assistance with managing her stoma bag, which is a result of longstanding Crohn’s disease.

You will need excellent communication skills in order to be able to support Jane calmly and competently and provide companionship. You will be working in her own home, helping with aspects of therapy programmes and working closely with treating therapists.
