Essential: Experience supporting teenagers, educated to minimum GCSE level and physically fit to enable Belle to access activities and confident swimmer.

Days & Hours: 3.30pm – 7.00pm over 3 afternoon per week. 5 hours on either Saturday or Sunday | 16 hours available during school holidays to be worked over 3 days.

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Oxford area to support an outgoing, bubbly, chatty and engaging 14 year old with cerebral palsy. Belle is currently looking to have a Female* Support Worker and is seeking a like-minded, energetic and fun person who can assist her with social activities, hobbies, study and therapy.
Belle is an independent, motivated and social young lady. She attends a mainstream school and will be sitting her GCSE’s in 2020. Physically Belle is extremely capable however her gross motor skills can be affected when she is tired. The main difficulties Belle faces on a day to day basis are with her fine motor skills and speech / communication. Belle enjoys swimming, horse riding, spending time with friends, shopping, adventure days out and requires support with all these areas but also will need some assistance and encouragement with study, home work and prepping for exams.
This position will suit an enthusiastic, honest, trustworthy and caring Support Worker who has a passion for promoting independence and is confident working with Belle’s therapist and parents.
