Days & Hours: Flexible, current rota Tuesday 9.00am -2.00pm, Wednesday 1.30pm -9.00pm, Thursday 12.00pm – 9.00pm and Friday 8.30am -3.00pm. One Saturday night per month and one Sunday a month, plus 5 hours weekly for admin duties

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage and support a small care team who provide 24/7 care for Sarah, 25. Sarah is a fantastic, active young lady who has a variant of Rett Syndrome; she is cortically blind, dependent for all her needs and has severe epilepsy. You will be confident to administer emergency medication as required, strong epilepsy experience is highly preferable but training will be provided.
Your role will be to support Sarah throughout the day and occasionally at night if cover is needed. You’ll be required to monitor her, administer medication and provide all aspects of personal care. You’ll liaise with Sarah’s parents, carers and other professionals involved in her care plan. You will be responsible for the general team leading duties and managing the support team under the direction of the case management company.
This job will suit an experienced and organised team leader who is adaptable and flexible. Lively, hands on, energetic candidate who can be calm, confident and adaptable to the different aspects of this role.
