Helen, 8 is a lively and active girl. She is fun and friendly and likes to go swimming and for rides on her bike. Helen lives with her parents, her twin brother and younger brother (3). Helen has an acquired brain injury, sensory processing disorder and can present with challenging behaviour.

Yourrole will be to support Helen with the afterschool routine, assist with homework, meal preparation, personal care, encourage positive interaction between the siblings, and of course, have lots of fun! At the weekend there will be more opportunity to plan fun trips and activities. You will support Helen with behavioural management and focus on life and social skills development.

This is a busy family home, mum is very hands on and requires an SEN Nanny who has the ability to work alongside her as well as taking sole charge. Although your role will be primarily to support Helen, we are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and pitch in as and when needed, whether it is helping with meal preparation or playing with the boys.

This position will suit an energetic, hands on and sensitive candidate who has a good understanding and experience of working in a family environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a fantastic young lady and help her to reach her full potential.
