Harry, 8 is a lively and sporty boy. He has sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia and difficulties with his gross and fine motor skills. He responds well to clear instruction, excellent communication skills and high level of spoken and written English is essential. Harry can have meltdowns when tired or frustrated.
Harry’s sister Olivia, 11 is a delightful girl who plays musical instruments, loves baking and sport.
You will have sole responsibility for both children and responsible for supervising with the after-school routine, the planning of fun activities for both children, supporting Harry and Olivia with their homework and helping with light housework duties including vegetarian meal preparation. The nanny will have a firm but fair approach and will support Harry with self-help skills including eating, dressing and going to the toilet, as well as supervising Olivia.
This position will suit a fun, hands on and sensitive candidate who has a good understanding and experience of working in a family environment, taking sole carer responsibility and working with children with sensory processing disorder, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
