Harry, 8 is a charming and lively boy who enjoys playing football (Man United supporter), basketball and snooker, making and building things and playing in the park. Harry has a sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia and difficulties with his gross and fine motor skills.

The nanny will support Harry with his homework, identify triggers and unlock his motivation to best support him and enable his progression. Harry responds well to clear instructions, so a good communicator with a high level of English is essential. Harry can become overexcited if told information that does not happen straightaway. He does not have a clear understanding of strangers and can have meltdowns, usually when tired or frustrated.

The nanny will have a firm but fair approach; he is a very charming boy who will try and pull the wool over your eyes. Harry needs support with self-help skills including eating, dressing and going to the toilet. Harry’s sister Olivia, 11 is a delightful girl who plays piano, double bass and loves baking, sport and debates. The nanny will be confident to manage the differing needs of both children. We are looking for someone who is fun and creative, with a flair for cooking. The nanny will be comfortable to work alongside Mum, but the family are keen for the nanny to bring her own ideas and knowledge.

This job will suit a fun, creative and sensitive person with good understanding of SEN. A truly rewarding position with charming siblings with lots of scope for learning new skills.
