Gina, 19, is a smart, outgoing and witty girl who loves singing and signing, going to the gym and spending time with her boyfriend. Gina lives with her mum and adorable Cavalier, so you must be a dog lover!  Gina presents with mild cerebral palsy, renal failure and suffers from anxiety.

We require a bubbly, friendly and sensitive Buddy who can support Gina with her current activities, encourage her to explore new interests and have fun! Someone who can act like a friend / big sister and understand the importance of promoting independence and encouraging self-confidence, whilst promoting how to stay safe in day to day situations. You need to be reliable and resilient; Gina doesn’t respond well to changes and she can often feel let down which affects her mood negatively.

This exciting position will suit someone who is cheerful and proactive with experience working with young adults with additional needs. Someone who has a real passion for supporting and enabling clients to reach their full potential.
