Snap have a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and creative Support Worker(s) to provide 1:1 care and assistance to 9 year Zac. Zac has a love for drawing, colouring, imaginary play and stories. Zac has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. He has mild learning difficulties, a visual impairment for which he wears glasses, and uses AAC and his symbols books to support his vocal communication. He lives at home in Bromley with his Mummy, Daddy and younger sister, however they will be relocating to their new fully adapted home in nearby West Wickham in 2019.
Zac requires support and assistance with each daily task including personal care, therapy, education, play and communication activities. In this role you will provide 1:1 support for Zac and also assist with his domestic requirements such as laundry, meal planning and preparation. You will promote his independence whilst motivating and encouraging Zac to reach his full potential. Shifts available are: Term time: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 9:00am, then 3:30pm – 7:00pm. Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am – 7:00pm. School Holidays: Monday to Friday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
Zac is seeking fun, reliable, honest and energetic support workers who are upbeat, positive and caring with a real passion for supporting young clients with additional needs. We are also looking for team members who are flexible and prepared to assist with school pickups, attending appointments and babysitting on occasions.
