£13.00 - £15.00 Gross per Hour. Creative, caring and kind Full-time Support Worker to join Evie’s wonderful care team in Hersham! 

Location: Hersham, KT12
Nearest Train Station: Walton on Thames
Wage / Salary: £13.00 Gross per hour Weekdays | £15.00 Gross per Hour Weekends | £78.00 Gross per night shift.
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Supporting a client with cerebral palsy, gastrostomy feeding and medicating and epilepsy
Desirable Experience: Knowledge of Visual impairment technologies and working within family home.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Sunday 8.00pm - 6.00am On Call Night followed by Monday 6.00am - 9.00am;  Monday 8.00pm - 6.00am On Call Night followed by Tuesday 6.00am - 9.00am; Wednesday and Thursday 3.00pm - 8.00pm and alternate Saturdays 7.30am - 7.30pm.

Approx. 42 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours during school holidays.

Evie is an engaging, cheeky and loving 10 year old who loves water play, music or just spending time at home in her sensory room. Evie has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and has a visual impairment, she also requires her nutrition and medication via PEG. Evie has an amazing team around her who use an intensive interaction approach to motivate her and encourage independence.  This includes lots and lots of singing!

The role will involve supporting Evie 1:1, assisting with all aspects of her care plan and facilitating leisure and play activities. We are looking for a full time support worker to come on board who is upbeat, friendly and fun-loving, with excellent communication skills to keep Evie engaged.

This job will suit a compassionate, creative and proactive support worker who enjoys pitching in as and when required, Evie has two sisters who enjoy spending time and playing with their big sister.

This is a great opportunity to work with a fabulous little girl and alongside an amazing hands-on family and care team. Fantastic training available for the successful candidate. Evie is well known to Snap and we are keen to find her next team member!
