£12.00 - £14.00 Gross per hour! Female* Family Support Worker with a keen interest in therapy required for 6 year old with cerebral palsy and hearing impairment.

 

Location: Farnham
Nearest Train Station: Farnham GU10
Wage / Salary: £12.00 gross per hour weekday | £14.00 gross per hour weekend | £17,000.00 gross per annum, salary position. 
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, will need own car to get to and from work
Essential: Working with a child with a hearing impairment and a physical disability.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Monday 1.00pm – 6.00pm Tuesday – Friday 2.00pm – 6.00pm and alternate Saturdays 8.00am – 2.00pm. 30 hours during the school holidays.

Jack 6, is a busy bee who loves to sing and play musical instruments. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and likes to have playdates in his diary! Jack has cerebral palsy and a severe hearing impairment. He can become very fatigued after a day of learning at school so experience and understanding of working with similar needs is very beneficial.

The role will involve assisting Jack with his daily routine and care plan whilst working alongside his team of therapists implementing his programmes, incorporating these into fun and creative activities.  The position will involve lots of play with both Jack and his sister and in addition to this general nanny duties such as light housework, cooking nutritious meals, arranging and supporting with playdates and activities. 

We are looking for a responsible proactive and reliable Family Support Worker who has the ability to hit the ground running and is passionate about supporting families and caring for children with additional needs.
