Title: ABA Therapist|Tutor 
Location: Chelsea, SW3
Tube Station: Sloane square
Wage : £17.00 to £25.00 gross per hour depending on experience
Driver required? Not Required 
Essential: challenging behaviour, autism, 1 year + ABA therapy, DBS, First aid, experience supporting children of similar age group or adults with autism
Start Date: ASAP 
Days & Hours:  Monday to Friday support at home 3.30pm – 7.00pm, Saturdays 8.00am – 2.00pm, flexibility for babysitting
Family/Client Pets: no pets

About this client/child:
Stephen (11) is a charming boy who enjoys playing on his iPad and being active.  He has been diagnosed with Autism and severe anxiety and is attending a specialist school. We are seeking an experienced ABA therapist/tutor to provide 1:1 intensive ABA programme within the home and school environment.  We are looking for a proactive, calm, patient and passionate therapist who can provide fantastic support for Stephen.

Overview of role:
You will be confident in managing behaviour, following plans and implementing them into Stephen’s everyday life. You will have the ability to take direction and work alongside other professionals, but also using your own initiative to identify barriers in Stephen’s learning and creatively solving them is essential. You will be experienced applying behaviour analytic strategies in both the home and school environment to support Stephen’s academic and self-help targets. This role will include liaising with other professionals, collecting data, assessing and tracking Stephen’s progress and most importantly understanding his needs.
