About this client/child: Harry (5), lives in a fully staffed household with his parents and two sisters (9 & 3). He is a calm and quiet child who enjoys puzzles, books, music, stories, & creative play. He attends nursery full time and has a diagnosis of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Dysarthria and Global Dyspraxia. Harry has daily speech therapies, including PROMPT, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DCCT) and TalkTools. Experience with these therapeutic methods is recommended, but training is provided (if required). Harry receives regular bi-weekly OT and Physiotherapy.

Overview of role: This role is approximately 40 hours per week over Monday to Saturday, with breaks while Harry attends Nursery, in the morning. The aim of this role is for the SEN Nanny to implement several of Harry’s therapies at home, reducing the amount of travel time to his therapies and increasing his school/nursery time. Harry’s SEN Nanny will manage his Individual Education Profile (IEP) and carry out related PA duties. The role requires international travel (Europe, UK, US). The family employ other Nannies & housekeepers and are looking for consistency for Harry, thus candidates looking for a long-term placement are much preferred. The client can only consider candidates with an understanding that the role requires flexibility. £52,000.00 per annum, for 40 hours a week, Tax Free. Additional hours paid at £25.00.

Who this job would suit: This role will suit a professional, flexible, and highly organised SEN Nanny, who is looking for a long- term role. Someone discreet, who has 1-1 experience (ideally 5+ years) supporting a child with their speech & language development, or a qualified SALT. Someone warm, and creative with excellent time management skills, who loves working with children and is happy to play creatively, whilst aiding in reaching developmental milestones. Solid experience supporting children with SALT therapies and implementing these into children’s daily routines is much preferred.

What’s great about this job: This is a fantastic, long-term opportunity to work in sunny Dubai, joining a loving family home to assist Harry in reaching his full potential and milestones. The family are offering an attractive package including 30 days paid annual leave, private healthcare, and one yearly return flight home.

Who is recruiting for this role? Snap Care will be carrying out all recruitment including shortlisting, recruiter interviews and arranging employer interviews.
