Title: Full-Time Support Worker

Essential: Experience supporting an adult, confident providing support and assistance with personal care, and a confident swimmer
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 3 shifts per week (24 hours per shift) and one full weekend every 4 weeks
Family/Client Pets: Yes, 5 dogs.
Accommodation: Care team have a dormitory with en-suite shower with access to the kitchen to make own snacks and lunches. Breakfast and dinner provided (unable to provide for dietary requirements)

About this client/child:
Our client Naomi is 33 years old; she is a devoted wife and mother to two daughters. Naomi is at the center of a loving and supportive family. Naomi enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and living life to the full. 4 years ago, Naomi sustained a brain and spinal injury, as a result now requires 24/7 support to meet all her care needs and to enable and empower her to fulfil her role within the family home and live life as she wishes. Naomi's home is fully adapted and accessible. 

Overview of role:
As Naomi's Support Worker you will provide hands-on practical support with daily tasks to ensure Naomi continues to run her family home such as cooking meals, cleaning, shopping, running errands and driving. Your role as a Support Worker will include assisting with personal care, implementing therapy programmes, and accessing the community so Naomi can continue to participate in social activities and hobbies. We are looking for a Support Worker that is willing to travel in the future within the UK and abroad (following Covid-19 government guidelines) as Naomi loves travelling with her family, last year the family and Naomi’s care team went to Las Vegas! This is a permanent position, working 24-hour shifts, the rota is provided 4 weeks in advance. Hourly rates quoted gross: £9.00 night | £10.43 day | Time and a half for overtime and double pay on bank holidays.
