About this client/child:
Finley 3, is a delightful little boy who despite significant challenges he faces every day, has a ready smile and thrives on the company of others. Finley enjoys play, watching TV, listening to music and loves spending time with his family. He has severe motor disorder, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment and is non-verbal but very alert and wants to be involved in everything that is going on around him. He is fed via PEG with a MIC-KEY Button, but takes some oral food tasters.
Overview of role:
Finley is looking for an energetic, kind and sensitive support worker who will provide 1:1 support during the day. You’ll be required to monitor him, administer medication and feeds, and provide all aspects of personal care and implementing therapy in his daily routine. You will of course have lots of fun together, play and do lots of stimulating activities. £15.00 gross per hour weekdays, £17.00 gross per hour weekends
