Essential: Nanny Experience or transferrable skills, experience of working with children with complex needs, Animal Lover and Non-smoker
Start Date: 10th February 2020
Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7.30am to 6.30pm. An extra hour is paid in case parents are marginally late. Additional hours by agreement, for proxy parenting of Lucy so that the family can have occasional respite.
Family/Client Pets: 3 dogs, 1 cat, 3 chickens
Accommodation: Own room and bathroom if live-in

About this client/child:
Emily aged 15 is a happy girl who enjoys spending time with her younger siblings, going to school, listening to music and being out and about on dog walks. Emily has PMLD and is fully dependent on others for all of her daily needs. Her younger brother (9) and sister (8) are funny, kind and sensitive and both love their big sister very much.
Overview of role:
The role will involve getting all the children ready for school in the morning (with dad’s support), taking/collecting them from school activities, cooking evening meals and getting them ready for bed. Emily has her own PA who helps each day after school. While the children are at school, there are light housekeeping duties: walking the dogs, preparing meals, washing/ironing etc. During school holidays the nanny will be free to organise activities and outings for the children.
