About this client/child:
Robert, 18, is a happy and affectionate young man. He loves running in open spaces, swimming, horse riding and other physical activities. He also enjoys playing board games. Robert is autistic, has processing sensory disorder and epilepsy. Roberts is non-verbal and communicates with gestures and cards. He requires assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily activities and social skills.
Overview of role:
We are seeking a proactive Team leader who will support Robert with his home education programme, assist him to access as much learning as possible and achieve, where possible, appropriate age-related targets. The candidate will use their initiative to develop, adapt and implement a specific learning programme for Robert’s learning needs and implement techniques from his therapists and family. You will be responsible for report writing, support, training, and management of Robert’s dedicated team and all necessary daily tasks as required. You will be an excellent team player and be able to work alongside Robert’s multidisciplinary team, his parents and personal assistants. Up to £22.00 gross per hour.
