Essential: Experience supporting a young client with additional needs, excellent communication skills, understanding of safeguarding and risk assessments, confident swimmer
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Bank hours, to include after school shifts, occasional weekends and holiday cover up to 3 days per week.

Our lovely client Lily is 11 years old and currently looking for a Female* Support Worker to join her team and provide 1:1 assistance on a bank basis. Lily has cerebral palsy, speech impairment, and cognitive difficulties. Due to Lily’s complex needs, she can occasionally find it challenging to self-regulate and communicate or express her needs.
You will support Lily to participate in leisure and social activities both at home and in the community. Whilst enjoying these activities with Lily you’ll continually promote her independence, ensure activities are engaging, inclusive and contributing to Lily’s overall development and self-help skills. Typical support duties will also include personal care, implementing and assisting with therapy programs and following Lily’s care plan.
This is a really fun, enjoyable and active role for a creative, positive and caring person. A confident driver, swimmer and an excellent communicator with previous experience supporting a young client with additional needs are essential.
