£16.00 - £18.00 gross per hour! Active, energetic and organised Care Team Leader to lead a small but busy team of Support Workers.

Location: Burton on the Water
Nearest Train Station: Kingham
Wage / Salary: £16.00 gross per hour weekdays | £18.00 gross per hour weekends | £72.00 gross per sleep in night shifts weekdays | £80.00 gross per sleep in night shift weekends (based on 9 hour sleep ins)
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential Experience: Team leading and experience supporting a client with cerebral palsy.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Mixture of shifts, including sleeping nights. Full or part-time hours will be considered.

James is a bright, engaging and fun loving 11 year old boy. He enjoys playing games and being actively involved with family life, exploring the great outdoors, bike rides and swimming.  James has cerebral palsy, is a wheelchair user and communicates using his computer; he requires support with all his care needs.

The role will involve leading a small team of support workers within the family home, to assist James to receive the care, play, education and therapy support required as instructed by therapists and requested by his parents and school. To work with James’ parents, liaising and coordinating with them to ensure their wishes and views are paramount within the care provided to their son.

This job will suit a motivated, confident and passionate Team Leader who is communicative and enjoys being involved and leading team meetings, supervisions, appraisals and writing and update care plans.
