£12.00 - £14.00 Gross per Hour! Engaging, energetic and caring Support Worker / Care team required. Two part-time positions available. 

Location: Area, Postcode: Thatcham    
Nearest Train Station: Thatcham 
Wage / Salary: £12.00 gross per hour weekdays and £14.00 gross per hour weekends
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car?  Only to get to and from work
Essential Experience: Supporting children or young people with complex care or physical difficulties. Swimmer, Non-smoker. 
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Variable shifts currently available. 16 - 24 hours per week. Please see shift pattern below*
Pets: Yes, a family dog that Mark enjoys taking out for walks.

Mark 10, is a sweet, happy and loveable character! He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is visulally impaired and deaf. Mark is a wheelchair user, he receives all his nutrition and medication via his gastrostomy and uses facial expressions and sounds to communicate. Mark enjoys hydrotherapy, playing with his sensory toys, taking his lovely dog out for walks and most of all, spending time with his Mum and sister.

This role will involve supporting Mark 1:1 with his day and nighttime routines and most importantly ensuring his safety and providing a high standard of care and support. Using every opportunity to develop his full potential physically, developmentally and socially.

*Hours required in term time: 7.00 am – 9.00 am | 4.00 pm – 9.00 pm
 One night a week – currently Friday or Sunday night
 Weekend hours 8.00 am – 3.00 pm or 3. 00 pm - 10.00 pm or long days

Hours required in school holidays:
 Day shifts week days and weekends   8.00 am – 3.00 pm or 3. 00 pm - 10.00 pm
 One night a week – currently Friday or Sunday night

This job will suit confident, engaging, sensitive and reliable support workers who have a real passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
