About this client/child:
Jen is 24 years old and has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs, she is a wheelchair user and received all nutrition and liquids via a feeding tube (Mic-Key). Jen is dependent on her team to attend to all her care needs and she requires 1:1 support. This role will be based in Jen’s home however you will work both at Jen’s home and out in the community.
Overview of role:
Jen has a busy schedule full of social events, activities and appointments; she attends day centres, clubs and really enjoys being out and about. In this role you’ll assist Jenny to live an independent and fulfilling life. The main purpose of this role is to provide 2 to 1 assistance for some of her activities and to meet current health and safety guidelines. As Jen’s support worker / carer you’ll assist with personal care, implement therapy programmes, attend appointments, arrange activities, explore new interests / hobbies and attend hydrotherapy sessions. Excellent training opportunities are available in this role.
Hours available (4 week rota)
Week 1
Monday: 2.30pm - 10.00pm
Tuesday: 4.30pm - 7.30pm
Wednesday: 3.00pm - 10.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am - 9.00pm
Week 2 and 4
Monday: 2.30pm - 10.00pm
Tuesday: 4.30pm - 7.30pm
Wednesday: 3.00pm - 10.00pm
Friday: 3.00pm - 10.00pm
Week 3
Monday: 2.30pm - 10.00pm
Tuesday: 4.30pm - 7.30pm
Wednesday: 3.00pm - 10.00pm
