Anabelle is 15 and loves to be out and about keeping busy with fun trips to theme parks, boat rides and going out for yummy lunches. Anabelle is autistic and attends a specialist school. She is physically very able and loves keeping busy!

This job involves supporting Anabelle, taking and collecting her from school on the Friday, promoting her independence and helping facilitate fun trips and activities during the weekend. On Fridays, while Anabelle is at school, there are light household duties (a cleaner is employed).

This role will suit a fun, kind, patient and caring person; someone who is able to connect with Anabelle. Anabelle can be a little shy and needs time to get to know new people. Anabelle loves to be active and on the move, so you’ll need to be good fun and have plenty of energy! You will be flexible and sensitive to the family’s needs and have a willingness to muck in with what needs doing to facilitate the smooth running of the household.

This role offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with Anabelle, supporting her to develop her independence, her functional skills and her communication. Anabelle is very caring and this role will allow you to develop a long-lasting and productive relationship with this charming young lady. Anabelle’s current nanny speaks very enthusiastically about the warm and friendly work atmosphere the family offer and the close working bond she has established with Anabelle!
