£16.00 gross per hour. Active, fun and caring Friday and alternate Weekend SEN Nanny for a fabulous 15 year old who is autistic.

Wage / Salary:  £16.00 gross per hour
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, automatic
Essential: Autism experience with teenagers and confident promoting self-care skills
Desirable: Experience within a family environment would be helpful
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Alternate Weekends: Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm & Sunday 12.00pm to 6.00pm.
Family Pets: Friendly Dog
Accommodation: Self-contained flat/studio can be made available while working. This includes a kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, separate bathroom.

Anabelle is 15 and loves to be out and about keeping busy with fun trips to theme parks, boat rides and going out for yummy lunches. Anabelle is autistic and attends a specialist school. She is physically very able and loves keeping busy!

This job involves supporting Anabelle and promoting her independence whilst facilitating fun trips and activities during the weekend. 

This role will suit a fun, kind, patient and caring person; someone who is able to connect with Anabelle. Anabelle can be a little shy and needs time to get to know new people. Anabelle loves to be active and on the move, so you’ll need to be good fun and have plenty of energy! You will be flexible and sensitive to the family’s needs and have a willingness to muck in with what needs doing to facilitate the smooth running of the household.

This role offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with Anabelle, supporting her to develop her independence, her functional skills and her communication. Anabelle is very caring and this role will allow you to develop a long-lasting and productive relationship with this charming young lady. Anabelle’s current nanny speaks very enthusiastically about the warm and friendly work atmosphere the family offer and the close working bond she has established with Anabelle!
