About this client/child:
Lewis 6 and Angus 4 are both endearing and mischievous siblings looking for a fun and energetic weekend SEN Nanny who can provide additional support and assist their Mum. Lewis and Angus are both diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition however both present differently. Lewis enjoys spending time at home playing and he is very creative and loves to use his imagination. Angus is non-verbal, he is very energetic and active, he needs to exercise and enjoys soft play, going on the trampoline park and to the playground; he is very quick on his feet!
Overview of role:
In this position, you’ll be confident in a shared care and sole charge role, you’ll support Mum and enable her to spend quality 1:1 time with the children. You’ll plan fun, educational and creative activities that the children can enjoy at the weekends, arrange play dates, trips out and about, support their individual development goals working on their language and communication skills, etc. Lewis and Angus spend 6 hours with their Dad at the weekends so during this time you’ll assist with Mum with typical nursery duties, run errands and cook delicious and nutritious meals. It’s all hands on deck in this busy family home.
