Wage:£35.00 to £40.00 gross per hour, depending on qualification and experience

Use of a car?On Duty
Essential: Registered paediatric nurse, Suctioning, NJ tube feeding, experience supporting babies/young children with complex medical needs. 
Start Date:ASAP, this is a permanent contract.
Days & Hours:3 Day shifts available 8.00am – 16.00pm, and 4 Waking night shifts 7.00pm – 7.00pm. Days can be flexible for the right candidate

About this client/child: 
Emily (4 months), has been born prematurely and as a result has difficulty swallowing and needs help with secretions management. Emily is prone to frequent desaturation and bradycardia and she is fed through an NJ tube, via a milk pump.  Emily was staying in hospital, but her parents and twin sister are looking forward to welcoming her home this afternoon! 

Overview of role:
We are looking for either an experienced pediatric nurse with great complex needs experience, who will assist Emily’s family with her care and early intervention when she comes back to the family home. You will be fully engaged with Emily's daily routine. Emily requires constant monitoring to ensure her airways remain clear. She needs a regular oropharyngeal suctioning, and oxygen may be needed in an emergency.

This position will suit an extremely caring, empathetic and experience nurse, who ideally has experience working in a family home. You will be responsive and attentive at all times to Emily’s changing needs, and work in a way that respects the wishes of the family in relation to Emily's care.
