Anna, 13, lives with her parents, little brother Oliver, 10, (lover of football, midfield position), sister Emily, 5, (enchanting), a rather cute Guinea pig, a very loving Labrador and a lively Labradoodle. Anna loves music and movement and her favourite TV programme is Mr Tumble! Anna has cerebral palsy, is non-verbal, visually impaired and has epilepsy. She is PEG fed, oxygen dependent overnight and requires medication every two to three hours throughout the day and night.
Your role will be to support Anna after school. Activities include physio, bath and bed routine; medication administration, setting up oxygen and SATs monitor and settling Anna down for sleep.
This job will suit someone who is proactive and energetic, who has a genuine interest in working with children and within a family environment.
There will be an induction period with ongoing supervision and the opportunity to travel with the family on their summer holidays! Please get in tough for more information on the requirements of this role.
