Stephen is an active, happy charming boy who enjoys running around, jumping on his trampoline and playing in the park. He has been diagnosed with Autism and is attending a specialist school. We are seeking an experienced ABA therapist / tutor to provide 1:1 teaching within the home and school environment. We are looking for a proactive, bubbly and passionate therapist who can provide fantastic support for Stephen.
Stephen has an ABA programme in place and the therapist will be supervised by a BCBA supervisor and Stephen’s mother. Weekly training will be provided.
You will be confident in managing behaviour, following plans and implementing them into Stephen’s everyday life. You will have the ability to take direction and work alongside other professionals, but also using your own initiative to identify barriers in Stephen’s learning and creatively solving them is essential. You will be experienced applying behaviour analytic strategies in both the home and school environment to support Stephen’s academic and self-help targets. This role will include liaising with other professionals, collecting data, assessing and tracking Stephen’s progress and most importantly understanding his needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate ABA therapist who is genuinely interested in helping Stephen to reach his full potential.
If you wish to apply for this role please send your CV to Kamila at Snap.
Please note, whilst Snap endeavour to reply to all applications, some of our positions are so popular this is not possible and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
