We are seeking a dedicated, positive and confident temporary nanny to assist mum over the Christmas Period with Magda and Ethan who are twins aged 13. They also have a younger brother Jamie who is aged 9. Magda and Ethan are both bright, sociable children who have cerebral palsy. They are very aware of what is going on around them and are very communicative through their facial expressions.

Mum is often around or another carer may be present to assist. The nanny will not be left alone with both twins except for very short periods. Both children enjoy swimming, playing with their little brother, eating and going to the cinema. Magda loves to shop!

The family are looking for someone to help with all activities of the twin’s daily living including feeding, facilitating fun activities, assistance with outings and their personal care. They both have variable muscle tone, so handling them can be difficult and it takes time to get to know the best way to handle them. Magda and Ethan require two people to lift them in and out baths and in and out of their equipment.

The family are ideally looking for a daily person but will consider live-in for the right person. There can be flexibility with days and hours and they don’t expect someone to work Christmas Day. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have a good sense of humour and be able to get ‘stuck in’. This is a great family known to SNAP for several years. Please contact Rachael at Snap for more information.
